Chromagon Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

Chromagon is a mobile puzzle game provided by Telophor Technologies LLC. This policy describes version 1.0.14 and later, which are completely free to play.

Information handled by the app

Chromagon requires no account and contains no advertising, analytics, or app telemetry. The app does not collect or share personal data. Saved puzzles, undo history, completion records, tutorial invitation choices, and preferences are stored on your device. Telophor does not receive your saved progress, history, completion records, or preferences. Your device's backup services may handle local app data according to your device and platform settings.

Optional puzzle sharing

When you choose Share Puzzle, Chromagon sends the original puzzle configuration to Telophor's puzzle-sharing service and copies a short link to your clipboard. If you have solved the puzzle, the copied message also includes your completion time. That time stays in the copied message and is not uploaded to the sharing service. You decide where to paste or send the message.

The service stores a short code, the original puzzle configuration, its last-access time, and an expiry timestamp. It does not store your solution, painted or drafted progress, identity, or account information. Creating or opening a new shared link requires an internet connection. Ordinary gameplay and already-saved puzzles work offline.

A successful lookup, including a chat service fetching a link preview, refreshes its expiry to seven days later. Inactive puzzles are automatically deleted, usually within a few days after that expiry. A link can continue to work until deletion. Sharing the same puzzle again can recreate its link. We do not keep puzzle backups.

Shared links and their initial-state preview images are accessible to anyone with the link. A chat service may fetch and cache the preview. Cached images can remain visible after the puzzle has been deleted; viewing a cached image does not refresh the puzzle's expiry. Telophor does not retain application or website access logs for this service. AWS processes network requests to operate the service.

No in-app purchases

All puzzle sizes are free, with no daily limits or in-app purchases. Version 1.0.14 and later do not connect to a purchase-processing service. Earlier versions used Apple or Google and RevenueCat to process purchases; those providers may retain historical records under their own policies and applicable requirements. Removing the integration does not erase historical store transactions.

Contacting us and external links

If you contact Telophor, we receive the email address, message, and other information you choose to send. We use it to respond to or address your request. Opening an external privacy or support link uses your browser or email app, whose own privacy settings and policies apply.

Protection, retention, and choices

Telophor uses reasonable safeguards for information it receives. We retain direct correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve the matter, or meet legal obligations. You control locally stored app data through your device settings. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information Telophor controls, subject to applicable retention requirements. Apple and Google control their store records and provide their own privacy choices.
